Instrumentation: standard wind ensemble plus soprano sax solo, piano, electric bass, and drums.
Description: This multi-movement piece was originally commissioned by UNLV to feature Eric Marienthal, Russell Ferrante, Jimmy Haslip, and Will Kennedy. This ground-breaking 30-minute piece combines aspects of jazz as well as classical music in an incredible display of rhythm and tonal color.
It has been performed around the country, as well as in Canada and on tour in Europe. Recording available on Klavier Records.
